Winter Nature Experience Camp @ Greenburgh Nature Center

The weather outside is not as frightful as you might think. Come explore our winter wonderland and discover the hidden secrets of the forest. Express yourself while exploring the many layers of life. Each day of camp includes fun crafts, games, outdoor adventures along with a mid-camp snack. Dress to go outside and get messy, but in case of inclement weather, the program will be held indoors.

Maple Sugaring Party @ Greenburgh Nature Center

Join us as we continue the sweet tradition of maple sugaring! Featured events include sap collection demonstrations, depictions of Native American and Colonial style sugaring sites, porridge making, maple crafts and treats.

Film Screening: “Straws” @ Greenburgh Nature Center

Join us for a screening of the documentary Straws. Director Linda Booker interviews scientists, activists, and restaurant owners about the effects of plastics on the environment. Leave the program with new ideas about what you can do to make a difference. This program is in partnership with the Sierra Club Lower Hudson Group and will be held at the Greenburgh Nature Center.
