Join us this evening for a presentation on Save the Pine Bush’s efforts to protect and save the Albany Pine Bush. Founding member Lynne Jackson will describe how Save the Pine Bush volunteers worked together, using the legal system and the State Environmental Quality Review Act, to stop development in the Pine Bush. These volunteers were not scientists or lawyers – just people who really cared about the Pine Bush. The story of Save the Pine Bush is important so that other people can realize they too can save ecosystems and have an impact on their community. Join us for snacks and discussion at 6:30pm, the lecture will begin at 7:00pm. Ages 15+. Free!
